TYPE-DESIGNATION 630/GT · FLAGSHIP, 2026 MODEL YEAR
Three-point-six litres, flat-six, two turbochargers, no wasted motion. Built in Leinfeld since 1964 on the same conviction: a car should tell the driver the truth about the road.
Every prototype since 1964 has run the 20.6 km Kessler Ring before it earned a name. This is the record.
Leinfeld workshop opens. Type 1 prototype completes its first shakedown laps on public roads at dawn, unregistered.
Type 3 wins its class outright at the Kessler Ring 84‑Hour endurance race, three drivers, no spare gearbox.
Type 5 sets the first road-legal production lap record at the Ring, on Leinfeld's own tyre compound.
506 GT lowers the record by 32.3 seconds. Weight comes out; nothing new goes in.
630 GT pre-production prototype, camouflaged, laps in daylight for the first and only time.
630 GT‑R sets the current standing production record. It has not been beaten.
