One material, used correctly.
Saffiano is a discipline,
not a finish.
Every hide is cross-hatch pressed at 4.2 tons per square centimetre, twice, at a nine-degree offset. The grain resists scuffing; it does not resist scrutiny. Eleven artisans in Levanto stitch each handle by hand, seven passes, one thread gauge: 0.6mm waxed linen.
