Meridian & Vault

Issued through 1,340 partner banks in 61 currencies

A card that clears in 0.4 seconds, wherever you land.

The Aurum Card runs on the Meridian & Vault settlement rail — the same network that clears freight-line payments in Rotterdam and market-stall transactions in Chiang Mai before your receipt finishes printing. Vault-grade fraud screening, zero foreign transaction fees, and 3.5% back on travel from day one.

What the Aurum Card actually does

3.5%

back on flights, rail, and hotels

Booked direct or through an agent — it doesn't matter. Credited the same billing cycle, not in points that expire before you use them.

0.00%

foreign transaction fee

Spend in Manila or Marrakesh at the interbank rate, full stop.

lounges, one card

412 airport lounges across 78 countries, plus a guest each visit.

1.25%

back on absolutely everything else

Groceries, the dentist, your kid's cello lessons — no rotating categories to track, no activation forms to remember to fill out every quarter.

Accepted at 94 million merchant locations across 200 markets

Every lit dot below is a market where an Aurum Card clears today — from a single espresso stand in Trieste to freight terminals along the Trans-Siberian line. Vendors don't install anything new; they're already on rails Meridian & Vault built in 2009.

200 markets tracked as of Q2 2026. Lit points denote live merchant density, not exact geography.

Sentry watches every swipe, tap, and checkout field

Sentry, our fraud engine, scores 41,000 transactions a second against 200-plus behavioural signals — typing cadence at checkout, device fingerprint, the usual radius of your spending — and freezes anything it can't explain in under 90 milliseconds. You are liable for $0 on transactions you didn't authorize, full stop, no fine print.

  • Card-not-present purchases get a rotating one-time verification code, not your real number.
  • Lost the card at a market in Fes? Freeze it from any browser in under ten seconds, no call queue.
  • Every dispute gets a named investigator within one business day, not a ticket number.

Aurum — $195/yr

3.5% on travel, 1.25% elsewhere, 412 lounges, zero foreign transaction fees, Sentry fraud coverage.

Summit — $650/yr

Everything in Aurum, plus a dedicated concierge line, 4.5% on travel, and two annual companion fares.

Before you request an invitation

Why "request an invitation" instead of just applying?

Aurum and Summit are underwritten individually by our partner banks; Core is open to anyone with a checking account in a supported market. Expect a decision within two business days either way.

Does the 3.5% travel cashback have a cap?

It's uncapped on Aurum and Summit. On Core, travel earns the standard 1% with no separate travel category.

What happens if a merchant doesn't recognize Meridian & Vault?

It's rare below 94 million acceptance points, but if it happens, tap-to-pay via your phone's wallet routes through the same rail as a fallback at no extra cost.
